Travel The Ruins Of Teotihuacan ,Vacation Destination in Mexico

I hope to pick up my vacation spot every year, although my family gives me a lot of pain for everything! You see, I like going to new places, interesting and attractive, while my family seems to only ever want to go to the conventional holiday destinations such as theme parks and places like that.

But if you're like me and want to go somewhere amazing that you and everyone you know talking well into next year, then you've come to the right of today's article!

¿I can suggest the ruins of Teotihuacan for your next vacation?

If you've never heard of Teotihuacan, that's fine ... Most people do not have. Basically it is the largest pre-Columbian city in South America. I guess it's a fancy way of saying that we are talking about a city of the Incas (or maybe the Mayans, I can not remember the difference between the two).

In other words, the pyramids. .. Three to be exact.

It lies about 30 kilometers north east of Mexico City. That is amazing because you can see one of the most impressive historical sites in the world without need to walk through some of the most unpleasant jungles in South America, which means you can take the kids.

We're not sure what happened to the ancient people who lived there, but by exploring the pyramids have been able to discover a little about them. For example, they are nevertheless to have lived between 500 and 100 BC, and there were at least 200,000 of them live in the area.

People seemed to disappear around 700 BC.

What is really interesting, they seemed to be worshipers of the cult that follows the planet Venus. Do not ask me why!

We hope to do a lot of walking while you're there. In fact, that's pretty much what we do. Explore the ruins of their heart's content. There are three pyramids and alters several houses, and other things of that nature to see.

This is not a place where you will stay. Most likely to stay in Mexico City and make a two-day trip to see the ruins.

With 24 hour cable channels devoted to the history, it seems that many of our historical sites have become boring. However, these ancient ruins in South America are still fresh and new, for many people, so that the regular European historical sites are gone.

I recommend that you review these, especially if you have children. It's exciting that you and never forget.
